Mike. This area is rich with history. Kirkstall is the name given the community across the river before Oak Ridge came about. Actually, it's not far from the property that was given to my Grandparents by TVA in exchange for their farm that was swallowed by Norris Lake. This is now a very popular area for rowing. Canadians truly do migrate here in the spring to practice or compete.
