But I wonder what this area looked like 150 years ago when it was awash with lead mines, the evidence of which is still quite evident all over the place!? If they'd had a use for Fluorspar back then this hill would have probably been a distant memory!
I am personally torn, I think the area is beautiful, however I think the quarry's add something of interest to the imeadiate surroundings but not only that, they remind us all how much we need these resorces to live the way we do today!
you have some excellent photos of a 'special' place but I think the cemetery in this photo is about 1000 metres to the north west. Could you relocate the picture in its correct location?
Thors cave is about 2 miles to the south of where you have located it just to the west of Wetton. It cannot be altered in the usual way. Could you move it to the correct position?

your location for the coupole is a little misplaced. Could you move it to be with all the other photos to the correct location slightly west of yours?
