islandlures's conversations

Hello Alreich

I hope you have seen and read my descriptions above.

For more pictures around Siquijor Island, please visit the "Flickr" website and look for pictures taken by "Islandlures".

Thank you for visiting the site.

@ jibby

Thank you.

Wherever you are now, i thought i could communicate with you in personal conversation but anyway, hope you'll communicate again!

@ Coumarin

You commented, "the photo is misplaced".

The picture is of the "Tombs".

Locator as shown on the map indicates where the picture was taken from. I was flying about 1000 feet above it and that is approximately where I was.

That picture depicts what I am looking down at.

Thank you for your comment.

Cheers!

Update:

Correction: Picture was taken from the village of Basak, in Zamboanguita, just south of Dauin.

For travel advisory in the Philippines, It'll be best to get more information from the American Embassy. I am sure someone there will be able to help you and give you advice on which places in the country are suited best and safe for trekking.

Many travel agencies based in Manila should also be able to provide you with enough information. Other than that, word of mouth from friends may also help.

The Northern Region (Islands) of Palawan, Dumaguete City, Siquijor Island, Bohol Island and Cebu City are fairly safe places to visit.

@ mappereds

Thanks.

Cavite would be more on the extreme top left of the picture. What we actually see is the Calayo Cove and Punta Fuego Peninsula on the western Coast of Nasugbu, Batangas.

The description on the picture was an error. I couldn't edit it without deleting and replacing the picture.
