Studying for my Bachelor's of Fine arts with emphasis in Both Photography and Graphic Design. I like to Hike, Free ride-Mountain bike, and share my mind, and how I see the world in the form of philosophy and photography.
Hi, This structur is known as Topp Hut, named after a climber who pioneered many Organ climbs in the 1960s. Topp climbed with Dick Ingram Del Boyer and others. It was originally built and used by miners at the mine that is about 1 mile farther up the road. When I used to climb in the Organs in the 1980s and 1990's, it was a popular place to rest after returning from climbs. I was up there last year and the place is pretty nasty now. Thought you might like to know. Steve
This was taken a few yars ago hiking to the top of Baylor Peak. veering from the trail at the saddle. we got a third of a mile off the path, when we decided to turn around.. the summit is only another third of a mile. but its fairly steep and already getting hot.
some time I would like to actually get to the top.
Took this Quite a long time ago... while Mountain biking.. I can't believe how easily I found it on Google Earth... the only way I ever got to the area was by Mountain biking beginning from Cloudcroft. Never used the access Roads or the highway, its been over Two years since I've been on the Rim trail.. and I still Remember the Trail like the back of my hand.
