Wish I had a Pound for each time I walked up this street. Woolworths was just round the corner, my favorite store in the whole world as a kid - they sold the plastic models by Airfix I was hooked on.
In the Roman Ruins by thr Via di Torre'Agentina you come across this wonderful cat sanctuary. It relies completely on donations for the welfare of dozens of rejected cats that are loved and cared for by volunteers. If you are in Rome have a look and give them some spare Euros. The ruins are well worth a look at too.
The small vale of Wooder shelters some ancient Oaks and Ash trees from the harsh conditions of high Dartmoor. Across the valley lies the high Tor of Honeybag accessed from Widecombe on the Moor

Summer view of Widecombe on the Moor. The Church is seen on the upper left. A lovely two mile walk away.
