Steve Christy's conversations

This is the southeasternmost tip of the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The easternmost point is near Harpers Ferry.

Aw man. We've been by there a bunch of times but it was either closed for the night or we were hurrying on to cover ground on the way somewhere else.

I believe these stairs are meant to be energy dissipators. Note the culvert pipe at the bottom of the picture, this is a concrete channel for water. The "stairs" are used to remove the energy from the water so it drops a small distance at a time rather than flowing quickly down a steep slope and scouring out the bottom of the channel.

Does this constitute a "flight of T-Birds?"

This property and the surroundings are being cleared for tne new Procter & Gamble facility.

Canadian "GM Beaumont," basically a Chevelle under the sheet metal but marketed as its own brand, north of the border.

Since this was taken, the building has been demolished. Glad I took a picture when I did!
