I went up on one of these little chateau flights around Domme, Castlenaud and Beynac in 2006. The french pilot scared the living daylights out of me as he filled up the plane with fuel without putting out his cigarette - very french :-)

A really nice Church to stop off at on a journey from or to Yorkshire to Cornwall. For a Sandwich and Coffee. So easy to get to off the A42. 5 minutes and so peacefull.

Guy's if you want a nice place to take photos in a leafy vally this valley has the lot. Two nice High waterfalls and lots of minor ones up and down the valley. Travel to Goatland on the North York moors (T.V's Heartbeat is filmed here so theres something for the wife too see) while you snap away.. go to the pub at the southern end of the Village and take the path that goes down the side to the valley then travel up the side of the river. Not suitable for unsteady feet... or loose children after a week of rain as the river runs very strong.
