a lovely area for walking I was on the riverside just a few nights ago. Were you on a train going to Hereford?
This bridge is in Monmouthshire you've added a Herefordshire tag!
There is little likelihood of this sculpture being damaged by the sea. As you can see it stands within the bay and is well protected by the piers.
The promenades further along the coast at Seaburn were badly damaged by storms earlier in the year and have not been repaired yet.
We have the International airshow next week and goodness know what visitors will think.
Sunderland is a City with useless councillers, but they are re-elected year in year out. What can the ordinary people do?
Close to the Abbey & Heritage Ash tree so plenty to see too!
Thanks for your "like" & very appropriate comment Roy
Regards ,,,, Judith.
It is a lovely healthy tree, one of the Heritage Trees in Wales.

Judith, You're being greedy , 2 sundogs at the same time, very unfair.
I've just come back from Seaburn, very bad sea fret unable to see far.
The bonus was the waves crashing against the promenade. Great to watch providing care is taken.
No camera with me tonight.
brko.jabuka thank you Petar this is an old scanned shot from many years ago the area may not look the same today but i am sure lovely reflections can still be seen :))
