maybe google earth misplaced the photo, in panoramio it is correctly placed where the photo was taken.

two people were walking up this glacier at the time of this photo, 3/4's of the way up the left side - so small they didn't show up on this disposable camera shot, but they were there, thinking about the blinding ice.
