This is certainly the Salem Custom House. VandyGear uploaded a few great pix from around the world in the early days of Panoramio (Feb-June 2007) and then seems to have lost interest. That is sad. I wonder what happened?

The house is made from layers and rolls of newspaper. It was built by Mr. Elis F. Stenman, a mechanical engineer who designed the machines that make paper clips, as a summer home in 1922.

Sure not a scenic view, but didn't the area smell great??? They make Jello at this plant, and I love driving on the highway nearby when its in production. The air is filled with the aroma of raspberry jello. Reminds of when I was a kid. (BEFORE I found out just what gelatin is made from, though.)
