It's certainly a better use of the space than what we often see on modern buildings, with either vandalistic graffiti or just a blank wall. Of those, I'm not sure which I prefer.

The only way to tell this was not taken yesterday (apart from the date in the exif data of 8/21/2010) is that the grass is green instead of brown. Until the past couple of days, our entire winter has been missing.

Around here at this time of year, 10°F (-12°C) is typical. Yesterday morning, we had -2°F (-19°C).

This winter is not typical, however. The past few days have seen the first really cold weather of the year. It's been one of the warmest on record.
