Photo was taken on the other side of Selfjord, across the bridge to Fredvang. From the side of bridge closer to Fredvang is excellent view of the sharp peak of Volandstinden.
OMG !!! I cannot believe that anyone would let this go like THAT ...I'd be interested to know the story behind this home. It appears as if it were built in the what? 40s maybe?? IDK but would LUV to know its history...I grew up in a house built in 1909 in Porterville but didn't notice anything till I was a teen when my father a drywall contractor...remodeled the house where he moved the hot water heater OUT OF THE KITCHEN...AND an older gentleman dropped by one day in the late 60s (our insurance man :-)...said he married his wife in our front yard in 1922...But I digress...There's a whole lot of stories out there with these older homes and I love them all.
