Samson Fish caught 12 klms west of Rotnest, one of 46 we caught and released that day, this was one of the smaller ones! Fished with a large lead jig at 300ft with a fast retrieve.
A greedy gannet caught on a feather while fishing, we managed to get the hook out and it flew off happy but left us with a couple of bloody cuts off its beak.
