A view of the alpine summit of 5,344-foot (1,629-meter) Mount Marcy from the southern slope at Schofield Cobble in the Adirondack High Peaks Region of Upstate New York. It is the highest point in New York State. If you look closely at the full view, you'll notice yellow blazes on the mountain which mark the trail to the summit.
I absolutely HATE all the signs and mess that they've put here, but what can you do?
It's a beautiful bridge, despite the horrible distractions.
Foxx, ;-) thank you! Wendy has a good family tree, her children are in many countries. But in secret, I think, she is a bit lazy and for a watchdog too friendly, even when she barks, she looks friendly. ;-) But she is perfect with the kids! Greetings, May
Hello, Palmina! May said, I should answer you and Ancsa directly. In my farmer's family my grandgrandparents, the Bernese, used to deliver the milk to the dairy, but we don't anymore. Sometimes, I pull the children with the cart - which is still in the shed - we all enjoy it very much. I am exhausted now, because I played with my friend Neal, the white Retriever. May told me that you love dogs and that your dogs eat up cakes. - I, for me, prefer a good bone, so if ever you come to see me, don't forget… I think, you are a good lady! Please give Spencer, Oliver and Reuben my regards, they look very handsome!
Ancsa, thank you! All people say so ;-) I am friends with May, she told me about all the greetings. So nice of you.
If I remember correctly, the light is only one of two like that still operating in the United States. I believe the other one is located in Beacon, New York. It's been awhile, but I remember seeing that light changing from red to yellow before turning to green. Of course, it works like all others today.
This small house is the birthplace of President Andrew Johnson, who was born in the kitchen here on December 29, 1808. Built in the late 1700s, the house was originally located on Fayetteville Street near the State Capitol in downtown Raleigh. It was purchased by the Colonial Danes in 1904 and moved to Mordecai Historic Park. The Andrew Johnson birthplace, along with the nearby Mordecai House, are said to be haunted.
Hermosa foto, da vértigo mirarla.
Muchas gracias Ermitri! May
Thank you, Alan! Luckily, we still have some snow, which does look nice around Christmas and New Year!
I grew up further north from Seneca Lake in Wayne County, not far from Lake Ontario. The Finger Lakes Region of New York is definitely a beautiful area. I've been through Yates County plenty of times. Great wine country indeed. :0)
