Very amazing photo of the Azure Window ~ LIKE!

Unfortunately a large part of the left side supporting the scenic 'window' collapsed in April 2012. The arch is disintegrating more ande more and it is expected that the natural arch will completely disappear within just a few years.

Best Greetings from Germany, Rainer

Super shot! Amazing that most of that white 'stuff' covering the rock is birds! Y*.

Best wishes, Brian.

THIS LAND IS OUR LAND

When the pumps where steam powered the coal for the steam engine was delivered by barge. On the canal next to the aquaduct (the narrows as its known locally) there is still the quay were the barges off-loaded the coal. From the quay the coal was sent down a chute to the boiler room at the rear of the building. The chute and the boiler room where demolished in the late 70's early 80's.
