I would like to use this photo in an upcoming research paper and I'm requesting your permission.
My name is Ricardo Martin and I'm a graduate student in Computer Vision at University of Washington. I'm preparing a publication entitled "Time-Lapse Mining from Internet Photo Collections", where we show how to create time-lapses by analyzing thousands of photos from the Internet. The paper will appear in SIGGRAPH, which is the premier annual conference worldwide in computer graphics.
In particular, we generated a time-lapse of the retreat Briksdalsbreen Glacier (see video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_dRO59Si8Q). I would like to reuse the photo in my paper and its supplemental video, that will be published in print and digital media by the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM) and request your permission to do so.
