No mukkapazzaclub, it was War, that they started. We didn't. We didn't ask for it; we didn't want it. Once joined, we ended it. We repeatedly gave them the opportunity to quit and they refused.
What was a crime was the inhuman way the Japanese treated the civilians of China, Philippines and just about very other place they rolled into during WW2. The thousands of woman and children the ruthless and vicious Japanese slaughtered.
Yes it was to save American lives and the lives of all the other people living under the oppressive and brutal Japanese occupiers.
