I am, a grandson, a nephew, and a cousin. The ferry is still up and running, I don't get up there nearly as much as I'd like to though.

This is some of the old mining equipment from the Ghost town of Hites cove, located near El Portal, CA
Natural Bridges Cave, on Perrots ferry road, near James Town.
I lived for two weeks on this island, just across the Merced River from Henderson Park.
A great swimming hole, just down from Briceburg on the Merced River.
