I'm an amateur photographer from England, but now live in Germany.
I enjoy cycling and photography, and photograph a wide variety of subjects - basically anything that grabs my interest - and have become rather keen on making panoramic images since getting hold of the necessary software.
Most of my pictures on Panoramio are in line with the site's original intended purpose, i.e. to show places on the map as they are on the ground and "out of the box", rather than having any artistic ambitions or particular technical merit, partly because, until recently, I was limited to my somewhat dated bridge camera (a Canon PowerShot S2 IS). Other than stitching photos into panoramas and the occasional crop, I don't generally alter them. I am greatly enjoying my new 1000D though, and I am now also venturing into the world of HDRs. What a difference!!!
Although not an expert in any way I would describe myself as a keen amateur and am happy to share my photography so that others can enjoy it as much as I do.
