David Brown Photography (formally Jethrohoyt). A lifetime Yorkshire-American photographer who owned his first SLR over 40 years ago. Now having progressed to the digital age, Panoramio is the perfect vehicle for this world traveling Yorkshireman/American, multi-lingual (speaks English, American, Geordie, Yorksheer and Southern). I live in various places in North Carolina, and love kayaking, biking and hiking, laughing and thinking. Oh and photography and everything 'computer'. I have used a variety of cameras over my lifetime. Many older scanned images on Panoramio will have been taken using either a Praktika SLR, a Pentax MV SLR or later waterproof Pentax point and shoot and either negative or slide film. My first digital camera was a Sony P&S, followed by a CDHK hacked Canon S3 and then augmented by an Olympus waterproof. I now carry around a Nikon D5100 with a brace of lenses plus a tripod that I NEVER use, and I do my best to try to look like I know what I am doing! Software I use? Picasa, Luminance (formally QTPFSGUI), Photomatix, Gimp for when all else fails and Lightroom 5.3. I enjoy laughter and mean nobody any harm, laugh with me, laugh at me. Its all good. Jethrohoyt became my unique web persona after I realized there were more David Browns out there than there are Chinese people in the world. You can call me David or Jethro. People have called me worse. I can be contacted at jethrohoyt via AOL.

Hi David, Thanks for your attention of my photo on Google , It was a Memorial of Race Course Fire happened 1918 in Happy Valley , This place was located east side of the Hong Kong stadium details can try the link for your http://racingmemories.hk/hottopics/1918-02-26-the-fire-of-happy-valley-racecourse/

Can I remember when you could get a pint for six pence? Was it old or new pence?

Any road up David, Marstons now own Jennings, and Sneck Lifter, and I could drink it in Wolverhampton if I could afford it. I think like Guinness it does not travel well!

All the best Peter

All of the buildings, save those that were sold off and remodeled or refit to other uses, are now gone. Utah State University now owns the property. They are building a regional campus on the property beginning with a large building that is now nearly complete. Will be interesting to see how long before it shows up on Gogle Earth.

Every July 4, 9am to 5pm Downtown. Fireworks at 9:30 at Brevard College

Experience a true slice of Americana at this fun packed day long festival culminating in a fireworks display. The day long activities include a 5k/10k foot race, live music, a classic automobile show, fine arts and crafts, pet show, and a children’s bike parade. Brevard’s commitment to country is highly visible throughout the neighborhoods with flags and red, white, and blue on every street.

So this is what it is all about.......

Best wishes. Gordon

You seem to have mastered the timing to perfection. Still having blue in the sky and a longish exposure enough to capture the full rocket trail. Hats off to you matey!

Kenny
