Hi, LittleRedHood!
Thanks for scanning Panoramio for great shots and commenting on them, and have us others alerted to see them too!
Hello, faisasy!
This one is very well captured moment, in (I believe) rare opportunity. I would love tho have similar photos of my own. Like #2!
Thanks for the comment. We saw them at a particular campsite on Lake Powell. We haven't had a chance to camp there since. They were quite bold and came near us when we were moving around after dark. Later I woke in the night to hear lapping and looked over the side of the boat to see three of them drinking from the lake. As I was photographing them I realized another one was on the boat. I was between it and the gate. It froze and we looked at each other for a minute and then it easily climbed the railing and jumped to shore. It was a fun encounter.
Thank You for the correction! The man on the bluff said they were Sea Lions and, being a Colorado girl, I didn't know the difference. It was a thrill to see them in the wild. I love their sweet faces.

Thank you Klaus! The great color is from the reflection of the red sandstone cliffs on cool, green waters. Greetings from the American West. Sheri

These are Harbor Seals, not Sea Lions
