Larry Vredenburgh's conversations

On Sept. 5, 2013 I received this email from Jim, "Hello. Just wanted to drop a note to let you know I really appreciate the photo you shared of the gas station in Sunnyslope circa 1974. I knew it well! I lived just around the corner to the southeast on 34th street in the late 1960's to 1972. I was a pre-teen then and I remember going there with my pals to buy sodas out of a horizontal reach-in cooler. Sunnyslope was a very interesting place for a 10 year old, lots of open spaces, hills, rock outcroppings, canals, orange groves, and quarries to explore." Larry Vredenburgh.

beautiful location, welcome to the group!!

Very nice photo,interesting place!

Are there mines in the beautiful clark mountain range north of powerline rd?

  1. East of Mineral King, via Monarch Lakes on a route northeast of Crystal Lake, heading to Amphitheater Lake which is to the northeast of this "pass." The view is to to the north. This crossing was every bit as hair-raising as it looks. Some how we made it.

De que modelo es la camioneta.Votada.Saludos
