Memphis is a tree city, and this is a great example of why, and how diverse our trees are. The vast majority of the Greater Memphis Greenline is shaded. It's very pleasant.
The current portion of the Greater Memphis Greenline is seven miles long. This view looks East, heading to Shelby Farms (one of the largest urban parks in America).
Memphis: The Shelby Farms Greenline takes advantage of an abandoned CSX Railroad line that winds across Shelby County. This is a beautifully executed trail recently opened. Additions are being made this year.
