I live in London and enjoy taking pictures at any opportunity, hope you enjoy this selection. I have taken most of these pictures on a Casio Exelim s100 which is about 6 years old now. I have taken in excess of 10,000 pictures with it which i think is pretty amazing. I have become very attached to it and despite urges every now and then to buy a new one i have resisted so far as i love it. It got pinched recently so i am now using a fujipix camera which i must admit i do not enjoy using so much. Time has moved on a bit further and i bought a new camera in may 11 GE X5, don't know much about the make of it but takes pretty good pics. Bought it in ASDA in a sale for £38.00 not bad considering the next day in the tourist shops on Tower Hill it was being sold for over £200.00 ! Cripes Tourists beware? Well the camera tale continues, i gave the X5 to my Nephew Tadgh as he is going on a work placement with a photographer in New York of all places. Lucky him. The SLR action will be good for him to learn about. I have bought a Nikon S9100 which so far is proving to be a lovely piece of kit, very pleased with it.

Thanks Sanjay, i found it quite a contradiction being in all this beautiful unpolluted enviroment and there is a Trabant! One of the worst polluting cars ever built :)

Kennet and Avon Canal
Spent two days and a night in the desert being blown away by the immensity of the gift our planet is and how insignificant we are in the great scheme of things. In Europe we can trace a heritage back a few thousand years perhaps to Stonehenge, places like that. Here however the Anangu people have trod gently upon the soil of the planet for over 22,000 years.
