Plonevez, you are quite right, however, and as you say there is another vehicle bridge just along the road. The footbridge is open now; Noëlle and I have crossed it a couple of times, the welding finish is not as I would have expected, but don't let that stop you from using it! My office is just nearby and when I am not on site I can now use the bridge to get to the main part of the town with less walking, I believe it will also be useful for the residents of the maison de retraite and the CAT at the old part of the town, behind my office.
