A.F. Donovan's conversations

Unfortunately, things changed by the autumn 2011, the cool interior is lost and food gone wrong too. Not worth of your visit anymore. :(

Idenrtical jackets due to a fortuitous timing of a K-Mart sale.

Ballybrophy is in County Laois.

It leans a bit, and needs some roofwork, but since it is 1600 years old I guess that's understandable.

Crunch, crunch is the sound as you walk up the gravel path. The owner could hear the noise and open the pub just in time for your arrival.

And the owner stands across the street shilling tourists over here. He answered our query "Where is the best place to eat lunch?" with "Right across the street." Later he came in the restaurant and only then we found out the local we asked was the owner. Turned out it was a good decision.

As long as you don't back up, it's O.K.

The best way to go to Dublin or Cork City

This place has one of the very few warm bathrooms with hot water in Ireland.
