Bedankt Peter voor uw belangstelling ,maar helaas moet ik u het antwoord schuldig blijven. Maar na al die jaren heeft het wel zeer veel bekendheid gekregen ,dat is een feit. Ik zelf ben 65 jaar en heb het nog gezien in zijn volle glorie nu ook al 50 jaar geleden ,ikzelf vindt het ook fraai.

Hi Arthur,
no, it's simply a so called HDR-picture. Google for "HDR" und you will find 1000's of them and also, how they are made. 3 shots with different exposure times and stacked by a software, called photomatix.
