Dear Matthew, I like Cardiff. I like this photo!

This a Kopeka bird. It can fly in absolute darkness and uses echo location like a bat. It is a daytime flier and never lands when outside its cave home.

Paro Valley

A beautiful show of snowdrops is followed by bluebells and cowslips.

Also known as The Donkey Field, old postcards show the beach donkeys pasturing here. Now managed by the Woodland Trust it is becoming a welcome sight each spring.

This led me to your club photo stream - thank you from an ex-cruiser.

Just in case you didn't know this is Anthony Gormley's 'Quantum Cloud'.

Great composition - I remembered it after nearly a year so came back to add it to my favourites.
