A portion of Wallowa Lake can be seen as a silver reflection north of Aneroid peak, with East Peak and Mt Howard along the ridge between. The East Fork Wallowa River valley is to the left in this picture, with Bonneville and Mt Joseph rising behind.

The easiest route to Eagle Cap is via Horton Pass.

My two companions in the background came down from Matterhorn the hard way (Matterhorn is to the right above their steep slides, seen center-right).
Eagle Cap is the half-dome on the right with the Lake Basin in the foreground.
