Great photo. I love how the white of the church and the blue of the sky contrast with each other. It really makes the photo for me. I'm moving to Alamogordo in January. Is this a photo club in town you know of?

This looks more like a family restaurant to me. ;)

I suppose after a few hours drive, one could use Lake Mead or Lake Powell.

They would need a pool or large tank in Alamogordo.

I remember when this corner was the Coronado Cafe. My father would pay for a cup of coffee with a dime and a silver dollar (from Ruidoso race track) for a tip. He built many of the homes in Alamogordo in the 50's. I remember the government paying him to build a house on Alaska Street, next door to us, for a German scientist and his family. He built the first modern trailer court (Lulu Avenue) on a fenced in cul-de-sac and then was told he had to tear it out. This was after he received all the permits before construction. Someone must have had second thoughts or a grudge to settle. That's when we moved to California.
