This photo reminds me of my childhood. I was born in Farnham and as a child, I would often spend hours exploring Hankley Common looking for spent bullet cases (and live ones!)etc. I knew that this wall was something to do with the WW2, you have filled in the details! Thanks.

A rare example of aircraft, Seen just after it had flown over and landed at around 6pm on the 8th September 2007.

Full of exotic plants and creatures. Makes an excellent day out for familys.

Spout Pond at the bottom of the Ridges. An small acidic pond which when full overflows over a concrete pathway.Surrounded by reeds but lacking in wildlife this water hole looks dark and forbidding especially at dusk.

Back in the 1960,and until the early 70s this trackway was a lovely grass walk. With the advent of the Horse brigade it has been turned into a muddy and rutted track, spoilt for all time.
