On the Flodden battle trail, this was the point taken by james iv of Scotland, looking towards Branxton ridge,,,,,in the photo it seems much further away but is only 1/2 a mile if that
Self catering - ex mill converted and offered for rent by College Valley Estates.
The photo was taken partly up the bank behind the house and looking across the valley towards hethpool itself
Taken Feb 2009 on a week end when the snow really came down. Access had to by 4 by 4 only. Even with the bad weather there were still climbers eager to get to the ice of Bizzle crags.
