Muchas gracias. Es un foso excavado en la roca; con la roca extraída construyeron el castillo, levantando los muros sobre uno de los perfiles del foso. Si pinchas en la etiqueta Qalat Saladin podrás ver el castillo y mas detalles del foso. Es impresionante, creo que tenía 200 metros de longitud, y la altura la puedes imaginar.
