Hi Vendredi You have some very good and beautiful pictures of the Dapeng peninsula. When I lived in Shekou I visited NanAo several times and always wanted to go to the interior of the peninsula and the other coast. Unfortunately I never managed that - but perhaps the next time I go there. Any place in particular that you might recommend for beautiful scenery or for old history. Any information would be much appreciated. Cheers Paul

上海毛条一厂新怡和，中国毛巾产业的鼻祖。1915年，怡和洋行尝到了在沪设厂的甜头，再次投入巨额资本，在杨树浦路威妥玛路（今怀德路）开办杨树浦纱厂。洋行把其在香港的纺织工厂中的全部机器设备迁入杨树浦纱厂，并于当年开工投产，产品使用“牧羊”商标。

陶馥记营造厂：陶桂林（1891～1992），学徒出身，自学成才。民国 11年11月13日，戈登路(现江宁路)上挂起“馥记营造厂”的招牌；民国20年2月28日陶发起成立上海市建筑协会，国际饭店、大新公司、广州中山纪念堂等由陶馥记营造厂建造。
