Born in Puerto Rico. Love the beach & sunshine, like to fly small planes (upside down when I get bored or jump out of a perfectly good airplane, well... I used to do that when I was younger), enjoy pictures of far away places, interesting landscapes, aerial & underwater scenery, exotic plants & birds, or just a cool fractal. I took most of the photos shown here over a 30-year period and others were taken by family members, friends and total strangers (posted here with attribution whenever possible). I hope you like my photos as much as I like yours. Enjoy! Comments are always welcome...

visited this site in summer 2011. The pyramid is now closed and cannot go up any longer. Nice pic. Luisa B.

Hola Vivian: ?Donde tomaste esta foto, en el area de "Cote de Arcadins"? La foto esta' geo-localizada en el mar. Gracias por compartir tus experiencias atraves de fotos.

Obrigado! These are photos of the space shuttle Discovery's second to last flight... it will fly again in September 2010. ( Endevour is scheduled to fly the final mission of the NASA Space Shuttle Program in November 2010 ( Being present during a shuttle launch at the Kennedy Space Center is an amazing experience -- the power of the massive rocket engines shake the ground like an earthquake and the air sounds like a dozen thunders exploding at once. I will post more pics soon. Thank you for allowing me to see and enjoy your photos. You take great photos and Portugal looks like paradise to me. Have you ever visited the town/village of ALMODOVAR in Beja? please post pics of Almodovar if you have any ( Regards, Carlos

Departing from Rapid City Regional Airport, heading north. The Black Hills (far left), Bear Butte (center a bit left), Ellsworth Air Force Base & Box Elder (center), Rapid City (left). Nike (anti-aircraft missile defense) site is a few miles ahead - below center. Temperature is between 0 and -30 degrees F.

Photos may get old, but good memories last forever, they are like time capsules. I am glad to hear this place is still one of the best hotels in Haiti... please post your pics. Also, thanks for your comments and photo position correction. Often, geo-tags move from their original position when Google Earth updates the maps with new layers. I used a Canon SRL camera & a 300 mm. telephoto lens and it's difficult to pin point the camera's exact position. Sorry to hear that Haiti is in such a terrible situation. Thanks for your humanitarian service in Haiti. Regards, Carlos

Hello Herve! You are correct, your camera was pointing toward the north-west. My mistake when I said north-east, I meant north-West. Only you or Panoramio can change the position of your pics... anyway, I see that the pic/geo-tag was changed. I will look for other pics from the same area and post or send a link to you. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Cheers, Carlos

Linda! Obrigado! --- Beautiful! Your photo brought fond memories of my trips to Haiti 25 years ago, the feel of the hot sun on a beach, the sand on my feet , a gentle breeze on my face, the smell and sounds of the ocean, peace on my heart. Please post more photos of this beach. Thank you!

Unbelievable! Thanks for sharing and keep posting.

So, you were a GO? The best job in the world!! Please post your old Club Med Magic Haiti pictures in Panoramio. Haiti has a special place in my heart, I'm sad to see the pain and devastation after the earthquake. See more Club Med pics here: I will post more soon, hope you like them! Regards, Carlos Almodovar
