Yes, the cooling towers were demolished nearly 3 years ago. The staion is now well into it's decomissioning phase, with the reactors currently being defuelled and the fuel being sent to Sellafield. Over the next few years, some of the buildings on the site will be demolished with the ultimate aim being to returning the site to a 'green field state'.
I don't know what Gordon Gray, KSW, Arnold Brazenall or starrunner are going on about, this is Alnwick Castle and it is in England, it's just not positioned at the marker. Michael O'Brien gives the correct position.
