Yes, the cooling towers were demolished nearly 3 years ago. The staion is now well into it's decomissioning phase, with the reactors currently being defuelled and the fuel being sent to Sellafield. Over the next few years, some of the buildings on the site will be demolished with the ultimate aim being to returning the site to a 'green field state'.
