Reading the comments here, I got to be interested in this place - I searched and I found, The owner is Fran Tate - I heard her interview - her father was from swizz, and her mom was German, she was born in 1929. She was very poor in her childhood and lived in tent for 2 years because they were kicked out of their house. She moved to Berrow in 1970. In her interview, she talks about barrow, she says in Barrow you cant have enemy, cause its an isolated area and only way to get in is to fly. If something goes wrong - the community has to stay together. Sorry, if I wrote too long - I am from India and for me its strange to know the mentality of people from these area.
