5 layers of restless sea in an area usually featuring calm, glassy crystal clear blue waters. Photo was taken behind the Governor Ricardo J. Bordallo Complex, Adelup, Guam. Taken during hazardous surf warning conditions caused by inclement weather systems by Japan, meeting w/another bad system by the Alaska region on 02.03.09 which lasted 2-3 days.

Port Authority of Guam lights bring Apra Harbor to life right after sunset. Very soothing to watch boaters and paddlers cut through stripes of digital colored lights as the water gently hits the rock I was sitting on.

Sorry but whoever said they saw baboons marooned on a rock on Guam & that it was a well-known fact, especially by the entrance of Orote Point by a military installation has fabricated this info. I reiterate-I've lived on Guam all my life & live not far from the back gate to Naval Station, Sumay, Guam. In fact, my family owned numerous parcels of land in Sumay until the U.S. Military claimed the lands for U.S. national defense. My family & I visit NavSta almost on a daily basis & know exactly where this photo was taken. There were never any baboons on Guam; we would have known.

Photo taken on 04/10/2006 when the sun was shining brightly. One can see a whirlpool-like very mean restless sea, whipping salt spray through the entire area, giving it a hazy appearance. The waves were loud and constantly rising so I could imagine the ocean current it carries with it. Taken at Asan Memorial Park water's edge.

View of Gregorio Perez Marina, formerly known as the Agana Boat Basin on a gloomy day. The marina is safe harbor for boats during typhoons. Note the small boat at the mouth of the marina. Photo taken from hilltop Ft. Apugan, Hagatna Heights overlook; also note Two Lovers' Point in the distance.

About 15 flag poles stand lonely w/o "colors" on a Sunday p.m.@the Governor Ricardo J. Bordallo Government Complex, Adelup, Guam. The late Gov. Bordallo worked tirelessly to restore the abandoned buildings and grounds at Adelup while he was in office. It was normal to see the Governor landscaping, pruning, and even picking up debris on government grounds. Gov. Bordallo was on a "going green kick" long before "going green" was cool. He would have loved the grounds.
