Hi BeeSee:
I am planning on going out to the other islands in Tuvalu other than Funafuti. Do you know how often these boats go to the islands? Send me an email: harvardiv@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Chris S. Miller

Thanks for your kind comment. The people of Pileni and Nifiloli are Polinesians and they speak language similar to the Tuvaluians. Now are days due to inter-marriage, the two Islands are more 'Melapoly', which means more mixture of Melenesians and Polinesian kind of race as the bigger islands of Reef Islands are inhabited by Melenesians. Regarding similar in Language, I would say that Tikopians (they are Polenisians)are speaking language much more similar or even the same as Tuvaluans. Interesting!
Thanks
