I used to buy White Castles for 14¢ each from a classic building like that.

lol... right now at home, sitting in our Living room and trying to select the very best shots out of round 3000...
We came back home one week ago from Boston, MA after two weeks trip throughout NY, NH, VT, ME and MA. Since last year we enjoyed a good part of the east coast of the u.s. and i have to admit: it is the second most nice area in the world i've seen ;)
The first one o/c. still is my 'Palz' - germ. palatinate :))
We met lots of very nice folks of your country; helpful and with hospitality that did not end with signing the credit card. Although showing up a valid card helps to avoid a lot of questions... LOL...
We even met with 'lucia' from NYC and had a very nice Evening at an Idian restaurant in Loisaida. Have to admit that was as good as the meeting with 'vkeith' last summer in VA. So to cut it short: yes i loved the weeks over there very much.
If you like to see my (ours) view of NYC or the U.S. feel free, you're most welcome to my tags :)
BTW. Right now we watch a 'gruesome' movie about Venice. You like to come on for a short visit over here? .. enjoy... :))
ok - i talk too much...

Life on the street is tough. Add to that the high cost of rent, food and other basic necessities just to get by. Then add the problem of mental health issues, lots of individuals find themselves on the streets of one of Canada biggest cities.

This was photographed in early November of 2007. There may have been a sign on the wall above the meters, If there was that would have been way before my history with the building. It has been a blank brick wall in my 25 year connection.
As the building sits to close to Hall Avenue it wouldn't have been an out building.

Yes, the foreground is downtown Windsor and the background, across the Detroit River is downtown Detroit.

Everything in Windsor is tagged as Detroit by Panoramio, for some reason. They not only get the city wrong, but the country too.

Yes, it is. Does Johnny Rivers still appear there?

That's my old neighborhood. Still looks about the same after 40 years, but it looks like the Burger King is gone.
Surprising that with online booking, Liberty Travel is still in business.

It was taken around 1977.
