My Full name is Nasir Ashraf. I belong to Tehsil Burewala; a small city of Pakistani Punjab where I grew up and studied till Graduate level in Govt. College Burewala. I'm fond of Traveling, Photography and taking keen interest in natural environment…I did M.Sc. in Geography and specialized my skills in Satellite Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information System (GIS). My Geography studies endowed my interests and hobbies. I’ve been travelling about the Northern Areas of Pakistan mostly; some of those are “Kaghan Valley, Naran, Shogran, Siri, Paye, Kich, Lalazar, Gilgit, Hunza, Khajurab, Skardu, Sadpara Lake, Aansoo Lake, Saif-ul-Malook Lake, Kalam valley, Mangora, Abbotabad, Mansehra, Bahrain, Malam Jabba, Kachora Lake, Ayubia National Park, Deosai National Park, Lake Mahodand, Besham, Chilas, Dasu, Pasu Glacier, Matlatan, Oshu Valley, Azad Kashmir, Nanga Parbat 8126m and many more…” I’ve also travelled to each and every 36 District and all Tehsils even to the rural areas of Punjab for GPS Surveys, Photography, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports etc. Subsequently after my University studies in February 2008 I joined “Geo-Research” an Earth engineering company in Lahore as RS/GIS Officer, I worked there more than 1 year and joined Islamia University Bahawalpur as GIS Analyst in Department of Geography and visiting Lecturer RS/GIS/GPS.
