On March 31, 1949 Newfoundland joined Canada to become the tenth province of this country. Seemingly at this sixtieth anniversary of confederation someone wanted to remind the old days by putting an old flag of Newfoundland in front of Confederation Building!
Farzad. I've been treating to contact you but I don't know how. If you only give me your e-mail I Will appreciate it. My interest is because I feel you are living at St. John's Nfld., by all your many greats photos you has taken of that city. I'm Gustavo Elizondo Garcia from Mexico. I had given my opinion of your photo The Rooms and yours comments make me feel homesick remembering my stay at St. John's I ask you to see my photos at Panoramio and facebook. I expect your comments
The very left memorial plaque was unveiled by Premier Danny Williams among thousands of grateful people of St. Johns on the Remembrance Day of 2008 in memory of all Canadians who served and sacrificed their lives for a better future of the people of Afghanistan as part of the international efforts.
