GIANNI TREVISANATO| Nasce a Mirano (Venezia) e vive a Mestre. Incomincia da giovanissimo ad apprendere i primi rudimenti sulla camera oscura , innamorandosi subito della “strana alchimia” Crescendo professionalmente ed artisticamente collabora per alcuni anni con una Agenzia Pubblicitaria come fotografo e tecnico di camera oscura ottenendo importanti risultati e soddisfazioni con tantissime fotografie pubblicate in riviste specializzate di nautica e di arredamento. Amante della fotografia naturalistica, del reportage e del ritratto pur esprimendosi sovente in bianco e nero, predilige il colore e stampa da se tutte le sue foto. Ha il privilegio di incontrare il grande Fotografo Italiano Bepi Bruno che gli offre di assisterlo e di collaborare alla stampa degli ultimi importanti lavori traendone grande insegnamento. Coglie l’occasione di sottoporgli le sue immagini e poco dopo in una recensione fra l’altro scrive.” … e mettendo ordine al suo pittoresco archivio, gli abbiamo scoperto doti di fotografo sensibilissimo in quegli esterni ed in quei vasti spazi che vanno dai mari del sud alle lagune venete, dalle sabbie luminose della Tunisia al mondo segreto della macrofotografia. GIANNI TREVISANATO | was born in Mirano (Province of Venice). Hi live in Mestre. Since boyhood, photography has attracted him. At the age of 18, he met an elderly Neapolitan photographer who, sensing the youth’s great passion for photography, befriended him, placing at Gianni’s disposition his experience and commencing an initiation of his new pupil. Thus, Gianni began his apprenticeships, learning the essentials of the darkroom first earnings, Gianni acquired some basic photographic hic equipment, organizing a small darkroom and falling in love with that strange alchemy called photography. With his first earning, Gianni acquired some basic photographic equipment, organizing a small darkroom where he spent most of his free time. For a few years he collaborated with a publicity agency as photographer and darkroom technician. This activity augmented his experience, resulting in success and satisfaction with his numerous photographs printed in nautical and furnishings magazines. A naturalistic photography, of reportage and of portraits, Gianni Trevisanato does express him set In black and white, but the prefers colour, and prints of his photos him self. Gianni was privileged in assisting and collaborating with Bepi Bruno during the final years of the life of that great Italian Photographer. His collaboration included the printing of several major works of Bepi Bruno, from this, Gianni learned considerably. Gianni Trevisanato had the opportunity to place some of his own photography images beside those of the Master, who for said occasion: “White arranging group of (Gianni’s) picturesque photographs, I discovered great talent: the capability of an extremely sensitive Photographer, in those scenes, in those vast spaces which extend from southern seas to the lagoons of Veneto, from the glistening beaches of Tunisia to the secret world of macro photography.
