Veľmi pekný pohľad
Greetings from Canada. Scene is as I remember it from 70 years ago, except for the three buildings in the pasture. Building with red roof is on garbage dump used by US army. Area below Rainer Kaserne was camp for displaced persons and former Wehrmacht barracks. Your photo is also my memory.
This generation has forgotten that Novaya Zemlya was one of hundreds of terminals of Stalin’s Gulag. The natives, the military/Gulag/prison keepers would have taken care of their own people and their remains. A skull on the plains of Novaya Zemlya is one whose whose home is a thousand kilometres away – a lonely but relieving death. There are thousands of skulls to be discovered in Novaya Zemlya

Real Ghost Towns in Canada are coordinates in the bush, on a field or in swamp. Construction was wood, structures were removed when abandoned, roads grown in, mine sites levelled and shafts capped. You have a monumental detective job accumulating them for your collection in Ontario. Best wishes in your quest. For myself Hogans Hotel was a ride in the countryside, but my walk to Osborne from Tomiko was not a ride.
The barn burned down Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016. Two cows perished. Horses survived - not on site. Silo still standing.
Great photo of a magnificent building. Thank you for sharing.
