Rich, hello, not so much shopping, but lovely cafes, a children's playground, art galleries. But you are right, this passageway leads into a shop called the Ampelmännchen. The lighted figures on the walls of this passage are replicas of the traffic light man (Ampelmännchen) which was formerly seen in the Eastern part of the city. It has become a popular souvenir item in all variations from T-shirts to fridge magnets. Good marketing strategy! Best wishes, susan

Hi Rich, the first time we were in there, we couldn't find our way out. The new stations incorporate a shopping mall, which is a good thing if you catch the train into the city for a shopping spree. My husband loves the railway culture, so I had to take this one. Greetings, susan
