IN IT,S HEYDAY AS A THEATRE, THE GARRICK, TRIALED PLAYS BEFORE THEY WENT TO THE WESTEND IN LONDON. MANY OF THE ORIGINAL FEATURES STILL REMAIN WHEN IT WAS A THEATRE. THE PRESEMIUM ARCH, THE VEIWING BOXES X 8, AND THE DISUSED DRESSING ROOMS. SADLY IT IS NOW A BINGO HALL, BUT AT LEAST IT HAS,NT BEEN DEMOLISHED TO MAKE WAY FOR MORE FLATS, IT NOW STANDS IN A CONSERVATION AREA SO IT SHOULD BE OK.

For more info, read "A Lancashire Lion" by James L. Maxim
