A friend and I climbed up to the summit in Fall 1983 while I was stationed at Edwards AFB. He droped his camera on Mine Gulch....and would you believe he jumped over the edge to go after it. He got it though!!

Its the wind blowing the water away. It was so powerful that where my bike is parked in this photo was covered in water a few minutes before.
I beleive this was one of Newport Landing's boats. One of my best cattle boat experiances. http://www.newportlanding.com/index.htm
