We used to call it Vandashmear Estates. We lived there when we were very poor and I was attending Brooklyn College at night. No car I had to walk to school snow or rain. When I look back on those days I remember the roaches and the crazies that lived there. We had some good friends though that we will always remember. Libby and Mike Packard were so great. We lived there in the 1960s. Now we are retirees living in south Florida. I miss New York though. We were supprised that Vanderveer Estates still exists. Herb and Lila Friedman
