Thanks for your kind comments. This was taken in summer 2007 when I was down watching the Tour de France prologue. Only using a compact camera in those days - it would have looked better with a more powerful telephoto lens, but whatever ... I was also pretty surprised by the almost exactly straight alignment between the path and the Eye - accident or design I wonder? :-)

This hotel is dirty and disgusting - it reeks of grease, has paint peeling off walls and ceilings, torn curtains in the room, stains on the carpets, the shared bathrooms are not clean and they charge exorbitant prices! Dont stay there - you'll regret it!!
